Our neighbour
During this year of covid we've been forced to slow down. I'm wondering if it's helping us to see our neighbours in need. Lord Jesus, please help us not to be so busy going about Your work we miss seeing our neighbours in need.
Herod
Luke 23:8-12 This passage says a lot about Herod. First of all he wanted to see Jesus because he had heard about Him. Herod was hoping Jesus would perform a miracle for him but Jesus wasn't going to be played. Jesus didn't answer Herod's questions and His accusers seemed to be heard by Herod so Herod started to mock Jesus but Herod didn't find anything wrong with him. Herod sent Him back to Pilate,,,and what is interesting is Herod and Pilate became friends that day. Lord Jesus, when satan sends the mockers help us to be wise and know when to speak and when not to speak. Give us the courage to stand for what is right, in Your time and way. Amen.
