True repentance produces fruit

Luke 3:7-9
Repentance doesn't come from who we're related to (or who we know). Repentance is an internal thing that produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. God is looking for repentance so He can forgive us because He doesn't want to send us to hell. What do we need to repent of today? How are our lives producing fruit?

If you're up you will come down

  Luke 6:25   I find these teachings of Jesus interesting.  He seems to be saying if you're up you will come down but if you're down you will go up.  Is He saying life is full of it's ups and downs so recognize that when you're up be careful because you will come down?  Lord Jesus, help us to appreciate our ups knowing that with every up there is a down.   Luke 10:29-37 During this year of covid we've been forced to slow down.  I'm wondering if it's helping us to see our neighbours in need.  Lord Jesus, please help us not to be so busy going about Your work we miss seeing our neighbours in need.
