Where's Jesus?

Luke 2:44-45
Have you ever wondered where Jesus is? Maybe you've been like Mary and Joseph assuming He's with friends and family...but then you dig deeper and find He's not there either. It has been suggested that when this happens spiritually you should go back to the last time you experienced Him and ask yourself if He asked you to do something then ask have you obeyed Him. In Mary and Joseph's case they went back to where they saw Him last and hunted. Are you willing to seek Jesus out? Lord Jesus, please reveal Yourself to us and help us to find You in our seeking.

Herod

  Luke 23:8-12 This passage says a lot about Herod.  First of all he wanted to see Jesus because he had heard about Him.  Herod was hoping Jesus would perform a miracle for him but Jesus wasn't going to be played.  Jesus didn't answer Herod's questions and His accusers seemed to be heard by Herod so Herod started to mock Jesus but Herod didn't find anything wrong with him.  Herod sent Him back to Pilate,,,and what is interesting is Herod and Pilate became friends that day. Lord Jesus, when satan sends the mockers help us to be wise and know when to speak and when not to speak.  Give us the courage to stand for what is right, in Your time and way. Amen.

Fringe folk

  Luke 9:49-50 Have you ever noticed some non-church goers are amazing people, doing amazing things?  Jesus says, if they're not against us they're for us.  Lord Jesus, help us not to discourage people who are on the fringes of the church.  Help us see how they are helping in Your Kingdom and celebrate their goodness.
